Tabb Johnson

January 30, 1961 - March 16, 2019

Tabb Johnson, 58, of Warren, formerly of Beaumont, died Saturday, March 16, 2019. He was born on January 30, 1961, to Linda Jane Tabb Johnson and Edward Earl Johnson, in Luling, Louisiana. Tabb was a loyal employee of Newton Tools and Hardware for forty-years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his dogs. Tabb was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather who will be missed by many.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa Johnson; daughter, Lesly Johnson and her husband, Wayne Valdez, of Beaumont; sons, Tabb Johnson, Jr. and his wife, Tara and Mark Johnson, all of Beaumont; sister, Jolene Shaffer and her husband, Rick of Beaumont; brother-in-law, Clint Dennis, of Kirbyville; grandchildren, Mason Christopher Johnson and Averi Johnson-Kolar; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Amy Dennis, who also passed on March 16, 2019.

A gathering of Mr. Johnson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.
