Taffy Cook

Taffy Middlebrook Cook, 58, and a longtime resident of Kountze, died Wednesday, November 13, 2019. She was born on March 7, 1961, in Dallas, to Patricia Ann Gregory.

Survivors include her children, Tiffany Manzer and her husband, Jeff, of Kountze; Daisy Marino and her husband, Frank, Jr., of Warren; and Deborah Middlebrook of Houston; grandchildren, Courtnie Wheeler, Emma Manzer, Brooklynn Manzer, Maverick Marino, and Maggie Marino; mother, Patricia Cook; father of her children, Richard Middlebrook; companion, Steve Meeks of Nederland; brothers, Johnny Fisher and his wife, Anitra; Phillip Fisher and his wife, Judy; Gary Cook and his wife, Pam; and Sammy Cook and his wife, Cecilia; numerous nieces and nephews; her dogs, Diesel and Sophie; and much more extended family, who she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her father, Jim Cook; grandparents, Gladys and Johnny Gregory; niece, Summer Middlebrook; father-in-law, Robert Middlebrook, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Etra Sthram.

A gathering of Taffy’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2019, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church, 395 Fletcher Road, Lumberton.
