While Tommy might not have been our cousin by birth, we considered him our cousin none the less. I have great memories of our times together as children; playing with the horse in Winnie or trekking through the woods in Lumberton or the Christmas we spent with Aunt Nell, Uncle Hall, Gary and Tommy when my parents had to go to Dallas for an emergency.. My Mother, his Aunt Ruby, spoke of him often and tried to stay in touch when she was able. You have my deepest sympathy.

When I was little I thought Tommy looked like Elvis! I had never seen a man put rollers in his hair iand use a hair dryer. I thought he was so handsome!!! And he and Gary put up with us!!! At any family dinner that we went to he and DRay pretended to “ argue “ over who was going to get in line for the butter beans First!!! That was entertaining! Then there was the day that he and Gary showed me how to eat a whole jar of cocktail sauce with 1 oyster!!! With all that said I thought I they were part of the coolest family on the planet!!!! That me Adams Family!!!

Many great times spent with Cousin Tommy riding up and down 11th Street in his Hemi Dodge during the 60’s. We were good friends during high school even though he was several years older than me. Rest in Peace Cuz.

Although we hadn’t seen Tommy in many years, we remember him well. Many fond memories will be cherished of our time as a family.
