I will never forget the fishing trips on Pine Island Bayou in Uncle Thomas's wooden boat with me, Glen, Mike and Uncle Thomas especially the one where I caught Glen with a treble hook. Thanks to Uncle Thomas's expert surgical skills with a pair of needle nose pliers, he removed it and we were right back to fishing. In the summertime when we were boys, I always enjoyed going with Uncle Thomas to deliver Nabisco cookies to all the local grocery stores. I always admired and respected Uncle Thomas. I am sorry for his passing.
