Thomas McCord

Thomas Joseph “Skeeter” McCord, 78, of Nederland, died Tuesday, October 30, 2018. He was born on July 19, 1940, in Port Arthur, to Leona Mary Meyer McCord and Thomas Kay McCord. Thomas was a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Anita McCord of Nederland; sons, Dirk LeBlanc and his wife, Janet, of Nederland and Lyle LeBlanc is his wife, Christy, of Vidor; daughters, Dodi LeBlanc Smith of Nederland; Marti LeBlanc Spoonmore and her husband, Tom Elliot, of Orange; and Bonnie Theriot of Nederland; twenty grandchildren; a bushel of great-grandchildren; and sisters, Nellie, Rhonda, Donna, and Sis.

A gathering of Mr. McCord’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th street, Nederland. His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2018, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 618 Block Street, Port Neches.
