Tyler Jannise
Tyler Michael Jannise, 23, of Beaumont, died Sunday, July 21, 2019, at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on August 9, 1995, in Nederland, to Traci Haviland Jannise and Willard Jody Jannise. He graduated from Westbrook High School, Class of 2013.
Tyler was very involved in select baseball where he excelled for many years at that level and was an avid gamer. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros fan. Tyler always enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Traci and Jody Jannise, of Beaumont; brother, Ryan Jannise of Beaumont; maternal grandparents, Barbara and Sam Haviland II, of Woodville; paternal grandparents, Ann and Willard Jannise, of Kountze; uncles, Chris Jannise and his wife, Sheila, of Orange and Joe Mazzola, Jr., of China; aunts, Wendy Haviland Durci and her husband, Robert, of Johnson City, Texas and Regina Jannise Harris, of Orange; cousins, Quentin Rico and his wife, Hayley, of Beaumont; Christopher Jannise and Kimberly Jannise, both of Orange; Jennifer Mazzola Peterson and her husband, Derek, of Vista, California; Jordan Peterson; and Jacob Peterson.
Tyler is preceded in death by his, paternal grandparents, Beverly and Billy Bankston; great-grandparents, Jennie E. Mazzola and Letty Norton; maternal great-grandmother, Mildred Haviland; and uncle, Ricky Rico, Sr.
A gathering of Tyler’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2019, at Broussard’s, with is interment to follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery, Beaumont.
