To my only brother.. so many late nights we shared talking on the phone sharing memories of our childhood and learning stories we had not heard before. I will miss those talks and laughs but have the memories to hold on to until we meet again. Give Daddy, Momma and Jason a hug for me. What a reunion that must have been. You will always be alive in my heart... I love you - Sis â¤ï¸

I had the honor of working with Van at the Port Arthur Police Department for a few years before he retired. He was always a great person to work with, and we exchanged many jokes during that time. While I'm saddened by his passing, I'm also thankful to have had him as a friend and coworker. He was a great guy, and will be missed. Keeping his family in thoughts and prayers. RIP, Van. Godspeed!
