Vernie Fay Dominy

Vernie Fay Dominy, 76, of Silsbee, died Friday, January 1, 2021.  She was born on November 10, 1944, in Silsbee, to Vernie Arrington Fitzgerald and Bronson Fitzgerald.

Survivors include her sons, Bronson Dominy and his wife, Trisha, of Silsbee and Scott Eric Dominy and his wife, Charlene, of Cary, North Carolina; grandchildren, Amanda Cox and her husband, Robert, of Vidor; Daniel Dominy and his wife, Kathy, of Lumberton; Sarrianna Burns and her husband, Jacob, of Vidor; Kevin Dominy and his wife, Kaylee, of Beaumont; and Britton Payne and his wife, Kourtney, of Cushing, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Laloni Dominy, Lilly Burns, Madison Payne, Leah Dominy, Sophia Dominy, Kennedy Payne, Alezander Dominy, Dixi Collard, Kyler Dominy, Lincoln Payne, and Wyatt Payne; and siblings, Ouida Paine and her husband, Howard, of Silsbee; Debbie Hatton of Spurger; and Bobby Lee Fitzgerald and his wife, Marie, of Conroe.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Carl Dominy, Jr.; brother, W.D. Fitzgerald; and sister, Johni Ruth Dunbar.

Mrs. Dominy’s memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Grace Church, 1130 Highway 69 North, Kountze.
