Victor Cascio, Sr.

December 24, 1946 - March 8, 2018

Victor J. Cascio, Sr, 71, of Lumberton, formerly of Beaumont, died Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Village Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Lumberton. He was born on December 24, 1946, to Lucy Fasulo and Leon Andrew Cascio in Beaumont. Victor retired as a piping designer for Bethlehem Steel and continued working for various local Shipyards. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping. Victor was an avid fan of the Houston Astros and was very active in his son, Joey’s life. He was always there for Joey’s school events, little league games and boy scout events. Once Joey grew older, Victor’s time was spent traveling and camping with Paula across The Unites States in their travel trailer.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sons, Victor Joseph “Joey” Cascio, Jr., and Leon William Cascio.

Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Paula Cascio; sister, Mary Jo Harper and her husband, Lynn; sister-in-law, Stacey Ramer and her husband, Robert; brother-in-law, Mike Forgas; nieces, Sarah Wells and her husband, Cody; and Angie Forgas; nephews, Jeffrey Ramer and Joe Forgas; great-niece, Sophia Wells; and godchildren, Joshua Haltom and Natalie Haltom.

A gathering of Mr. Cascio’s family and friends will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm., Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His graveside service will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77702.
