Words cant begin to express my feelings and that of my sister. Virgie the last link to my parents. I know where she is but I will surely miss her.

Virgie and Emmett Lack were "best friends" with my parents, Willie and Eloise Bean, of Kountze, TX. Virgie attended both of my parent's funerals and also my brother's funeral in 2012. She came up to me prior to my mother's funeral and hugged me very hard and said, "Your mother was my best friend". My brother ate gallons of blueberries from the Lack farm while he was battling cancer. It was a privilege to know Virgie and Emmett. She will be missed. I just bet she is telling Saint Peter some tales of southeast Texas. Rest in peace, Virgie! Prayers for the Lack family.

Adlai and Valerie, so sorry for your loss. In my memories of growing up on Villa Rd, playing with Adlai, Virgie was always there. The Lack family has had a huge influence in Kountze and SE Texas. Emmett as state representative (Let’s Back Lack), and county judge, and Virgie was always there, supporting and loving. I actually worked for Judge Lack in his courthouse office for a few weeks, and he encouraged me to go to college in spite of some of the obstacles I faced. Please know that you are in my prayers. God bless.

I remember how excited she was to make 100 and beyond. The picture of her sitting on her pew is precious. May God wrap his loving arms around you and your family during this time.

Aunt Virgie was so sweetest and loving, I don't remember a time when she wasn't smiling. She had a heart of gold and yes she could be mean if needed, at least that is what my Dad and Uncle Emmitt would say.., I remember her buying me a plaque (A Child’s Prayer) . That little prayer touch my life more than she will ever know.. ,I’m happy for her because I know after seeing Jesus , she will join the love of her life...Until we meet again, Aunt Virgie you will remain in my heart!

My childhood memories while growing up on Villa Road were when John Henry, Emmett’s bull would get loose, Virgie would call and say, John Henry’s loose, get all the kids in and tell Mutt to come help catch him. We all would go running for the house. Virgie. Will be missed by so many people.. I remember my family and the Lack family going swimming in Village Creek and floating watermelons to keep them cool. What simple fun we had. Praying for the entire Lack family.

Dear Lack Family, I remember Virgie first as our elementary school room mother. She was elegant and fun and funny. A beautifully dressed lady with a twinkle in her eye who made you feel she was just dying to run and play with the kids., but who you sensed could be just as tough as she was pretty and fun. if the need arose . This never changed. I know you will miss her. God bless and keep you.
