Wade Knudson
Wade Martin Knudson, 61, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018. He was born October 21, 1957, in Port Arthur, to Cornelia Elizabeth Moss Knudson and Cecil Grady Knudson.
He was an honor graduate from Hamshire-Fannett High School in 1976 before attending Lamar University where he studied civil engineering. He remained an avid Lamar University supporter for the rest of his life. Wade was a member of The National Rifle Association and he enjoyed playing chess, working on cars, listening to Hank Williams, Jr., and he had a great sense of humor. He especially liked comedian, George Carlin. He also cared for his mother until her time of passing.
Survivors include his sister, Betty Joy Knudson Marbuger, of Humble; great-nieces, Briana Maldonado and her wife, Tonja Martinez and Alana Maldonado; and great-nephew, Trey Maldonado, all of Fort Worth.
Cremation arrangements for Mr. Knudson will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A memorial service for family and friends will be announced at a later date.

Mr Knudson and I would discuss lamar baseball, he was one of their biggest fans, sure will miss seeing him up in those bleachers with his little red rag and broom putting the voodoo on the visiting team. prayers are with the family and I know he will be watching those games from above.
