Wanda Flint

Wanda Flint, 89 years old, died April 4, 2018. She was a native of Cherokee County, Texas, and has been a resident of Beaumont since the early 1950s. She grew up in the plains of West Texas. Wanda was a retail buyer for forty-nine years at a Beaumont department store and retired in July 1999. She loved beautiful gardens and interior decorating and had a great love for animals. Her favorite place was Carmel, California, by the sea.

Survivors include her son, Larry Flint of Beaumont and several cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Johnson.

A burial of Ms. Flint’s cremated body will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
