Wanda Murray

Wanda Murray, 82, of Port Neches, died Thursday, May 11, 2017. She was born on September 17, 1934, in Port Arthur, to Winnie Campbell Gardenhire and Boyd Gardenhire. Wanda was a kind and sweet spirit, who loved animals and her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Murray of Nederland; grandson, Chas Prestil of Nederland; and great-grandson, Christian Prestil of Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Murray; two brothers; and three sisters.

A gathering of Ms. Murray’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 14, 2017, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, with her interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
