Wesley James Guillory

March 1, 1937 - May 6, 2017

Wesley James Guillory, 80, of Beaumont, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation, Beaumont. He was born on March 1, 1937, in Kinder, Louisiana, to Elizabeth M. Richmond and Patrick Guillory, and had been a resident of Beaumont since 1958.  Wesley was a United States Air Force veteran having served in the Korean War. He was formerly employed at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont, and was a funeral associate with Broussard’s Mortuary. Wesley was a faithful caretaker to Debra, Terry, and Caryle. He enjoyed woodworking and loved to watch western shows.

Wesley is survived by his fiancée, Debra Mauldin; children, Sherri Ann Flint, Samuel Dwayne Guillory, Perri Elizabeth Guillory, Terry Hammock, and Caryle Hammock; sister, Dorothy Barron; and numerous grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Ruby Lee Hamilton, Robert Guillory, and Edward “Red” Guillory.

A gathering of Mr. Guillory’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Broussard’s. His graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m., at Green Oaks Cemetery, Kinder, Louisiana.
