Sincere condolences to Luz & her family on the loss of Bill. We both enjoyed getting to know Bill especially thru the OLG Senior Club. He was always so pleasant to be around and helpful by calling Bingo for our group. We will miss him.

I never met a man who was as kind and caring for others as Bill Coon. At HPD, cops generally got tagged with a nickname and Bill became to be know as "Willie." The year was 1975. and Willie and I became partners and friends. A few years later, Willie met my family and they too, affectionately called him Willie. He was my police partner, business partner, mentor and coffee drinking buddy who could laugh infectiously. I was happy to serve as his best man when he and Luz married. Thank you, Willie for giving me the honor.. So, rest in peace, my friend. But I will still hear your laugh!
