Willie Peveto, Jr.

Willie Peveto, Jr., 84, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at Christus Southeast Texas-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on April 30, 1936, to Thelma Nash Peveto and Willie Arlas Peveto, Sr., in Orange.

Willie was a longtime owner of Willie Peveto Appraisal Associates and enjoyed fishing and working around his home. Willie’s favorite hobby was developing and building homes.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Nathalie B. Peveto; daughter, Kim Robinson and her husband, Jack; son, Willie “Rusty” Peveto, III; sisters, Jeanette Peveto; and Dora Mae “Doty” McKeown and her husband, Bill; brother, Riley Peveto and his wife, Betty; nieces, Leslea Nichol, Wincy Tomecko; and nephew, Clark Peveto.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ramona Burks; and nephews, Buddy Burks and Bryce Burks.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. The family will gather at a later time for the committal of his cremated body at King Cemetery in Hartburg, Texas.
