Corey Allen Biscamp, 53, of Port Neches, died Monday, March 25, 2024. He was born on September 27, 1970, in Silsbee to Thelma Jean Courmier Biscamp and Kenneth Velmont Biscamp. He is survived by his mother, Thelma “Tilly” Clemons and her spouse, David Quinten, of Port Neches; children; Celestial Campbell of Breckinridge, Texas; Dalylah Biscamp of Silsbee; and Blaiz Biscamp of Mauriceville; siblings; Rusty Biscamp and his wife, Teri, of Witacha Falls; and Bo Biscamp and his wife, Jessica, of Iving, Utah; and grandchildren, Kingsley and Khalia Moore. Vikki Leigh May, 64, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, March 20, 2024. She was born on September 30, 1959, in Kountze, to Rachel Stephens Howell and Charles L. Howell. Vikki owned and operated Crack Masters for thirty years. She also worked with her mother-in-law in the flower shop where she loved designing flowers arrangements. Vikki loved her family and her grandbaby. Survivors include her husband of forty-five years, Dennis May; children, Crystal Williams and her husband, Lenny, of Silsbee; and Courtney May of Beaumont; grandchild; Kennedi Morrisey; and brother, Mike Howell. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rachel and Charlie Howell. Richard Edward Strong, 82, of Silsbee, died Saturday, March 9, 2024. He was born on January 5, 1942, in Bristow, Oklahoma, to Faye Snyder Strong and Thomas Edward Strong. Mr. Strong was a long-time educator of Silsbee Independent School District. He coached football and basketball. He and his wife also owned and operated Strong’s Driving School for 10 years. Blake Jude Landis Alexander, 11, of Kountze, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 9, 2024. He was born on September 30, 2012, in Beaumont, to Karissa Hopkins and Jarden Alexander. Blake was such a smart and funny young boy. He was a jokester who liked to roughhouse with his Uncle Parker and enjoyed picking on his Grandma, Amanda. He treasured the time spent with his Papa Joey and Nanny Bridgette. He loved to play video games and watch YouTube. Those who were blessed to know Braxton will feel his absence forever. Martin Luther Roberts III was born on March 20, 1947, in Baird, Texas. Martin lived most of his life in Clyde, TX and graduated 16th in his class, of course there were only about 16 kids in his class! The spring of ‘66, Martin met the love of his life, Brenda, while she and her family were dropping off her brother Andrew at the Air Force base in Abilene. Their love story started out at a Sunday church service. Brenda spied Martin while he was singing in the choir. To her surprise and everyone else around, including an old girlfriend, Martin decided to sit next to her for the service. After church, Martin invited Brenda, Andrew and his “wingman” to go out for ice cream and putt-putt. Carrol “Butch” Lloyd Cross, 75, of Lumberton, died Saturday, February 24, 2024. He was born on December 21, 1948, in McLeansboro, Illinois, to Edna Marie Bevan Cross and Pleasant Walter Cross. The family eventually moved to Pickrell Corner, Kansas where he attended Haverhill Elementary, then Leon High School. He was a star athlete in football, basketball, baseball, and track. His junior year he fell in love with one of the cheerleaders, Susan McGavran, and they dated throughout their high school years. He graduated in 1967 and received a football scholarship to Butler County Community College for the fall semester of 1967 and later to Missouri Southern in Joplin, Missouri. Mary Ellen Bridgers Delacerda, 66, of Silsbee, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024. She was born on March 19, 1957, in Beaumont, to Jean Rost Bridgers and Bob Bridgers, Jr. Mary was a longtime resident of Silsbee where she worked as a loan officer at Silsbee State Bank. Mary enjoyed her early years watching her children grow and supporting them in all their various sports activities and was always their biggest fan. It’s where Munchies Ole is now in Rusty’s Volkswagen. We sat and talked for hours. It seemed like my life was never the same. Jimmy Ray McDonald, 82, of Warren, died on Saturday, February 3, 2024. He was born on January 22, 1942, in Honey Island, to Doris Strawther McDonald and Frank Hugh McDonald. Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He loved his country and took great pride in serving. Following his service in the Navy, he worked in the oilfield in several capacities. Edward Theodore “Ted” Robbins, Jr., 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at his home in Silsbee, Texas. He was born on August 1, 1934, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Lillian Breaux Robbins and Edward Theodore Robbins, Sr. Ted graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1953. He worked for BF Goodrich/Ameripol Synpol as an electrical engineer until he retired in February 1996, after thirty years. Ted built his home in Silsbee, Texas in 1994. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Silsbee. He was always willing to help with whatever anyone needed. Ashley was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on November 29, 2005, to Lisa Marie Repasky Carlock and Matthew Aaron Carlock. From a young age, Ashley wanted to be a cowgirl and a “pistol-packin’ mama.” Ashley religiously carried her toy pistol to be just like her daddy. As a little girl, Ashley developed her love for Jesus Christ and made the decision at 8 years old to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Tommy Faye Marcontell, 79, of Saratoga, died Thursday February 1, 2024. She was born on October 20, 1944, in Goose Creek, to Dora Litzler Marcontell and Thomas Jefferson Marcontell. Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Felps Cemetery, Thicket, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
