Molly Sue Ridley

August 17, 1943 - March 29, 2022

Molly Sue Ridley, 78, of China, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born August 17, 1943, in Beaumont, to Elizabeth Breeden and John L. Kolander, Sr. Molly retired from Hardin-Jefferson I.S.D., after teaching for over thirty years.

Molly is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Rachelle Williams and her husband, Matt, of Beaumont; Jennifer Clark and her husband, Jason, of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Candace Williams, Tramon Williams, Jaydon Williams, Thomas Jefferson Bryant, Justin Mahone, Layla Clark, Grayson Clark; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Lillian Kolander and Cleffie Kolander, both of China, Texas.

A gathering of Mrs. Ridley’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2022, at China United Methodist Church, 205 West Washington Avenue, China, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. her interment will follow at China Cemetery.
