Randall “Randy” Ray Ward, Sr.
Randall “Randy” Ray Ward, Sr., 89, of Crystal Beach, passed away peacefully at home August 22, 2024. He was born March 26, 1935, in Fort Worth, Texas to Elizabeth Lucile Mann and Raymond Adam Ward.
Randy loved spending time with his family, his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren with all his heart. In his last years, he spent most of his time with his favorite companions, Cookie, and Lilly. He worked for O’Rielly Chevrolet in Tuscan, Arizona for over 20 years. He then moved to Beaumont, Texas and worked for Kinsel Ford for many years. Randy then had an auto consulting business and traveled across the country for several years with his home base being in Crystal Beach, Texas. He later worked for Keating Auto in Winnie, Texas where he retired. He was known by his family and friends as a prankster. He loved to tell jokes and make others laugh. He loved people which made him an excellent salesman.
Survivors include his, loving wife, Terri Ward; sons, Micheal Ward, Jeff Westerterp and his wife, Katie, Jay Westerterp and his wife, Holly; daughters, Twyla Pyles and her husband, Michael, Tina Caldwell and her husband, Clay, and Lara Ward. Randy was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 4 nephews, and a niece. Randy has a large extended church family of Crystal Beach Community Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Lucile Mann and Raymond Adam Ward, his son Randall Ward Jr., and sister Linnie Churchill.
Randy Ward’s cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie, Texas. A celebration of life will be held at a future date to be determined.

The family would like to thank all those who have helped Randy transition to his new home in heaven. It has been a great blessing to have all the love and support.
