Sharon Ann Ledoux
Sharon Ann Ledoux, 77, of Winnie, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 28, 1947, in Amarillo, Texas to William and Juanita McKey.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother, sister, MawMaw, aunt, and friend. She graduated from PNG class of 1965. She held many careers in her life including Johnson’s Florist, ran Harold Ledoux Dragline Service, secretary and Director of Religious Education at St. Louis Catholic Church, and secretary at Broussard’s Mortuary before retiring.
In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, playing chicken foot, sudoku, skip-bo, crafting, painting, drawing, cooking, playing with her grandchildren and spending time with family. She loved mystery books, watching cooking shows to get new ideas, and watching the history channel. She watched every series of NCIS and Law and Order. It didn’t matter how many times she saw them she would watch them every day on repeat. Sharon made everyone’s birthday so special by cooking their favorite meal and celebrating to the fullest. She always made sure to leave a personalized story in everyone’s birthday card. It did not matter what functions were going on or how she felt, she always attended as many as she possibly could. No matter what she had going on or how bad she felt she always asked how others were and offered prayers for them. She was proud to say that she voted in every election since she was old enough to vote. She even made sure to vote in the last election from her hospital bed. Her favorite saying was Live Laugh Love.
She loved to go dancing with her husband, going to eat Mexican food and drink margaritas, sitting outside on the swing cozied up to a warm fire, and sitting in the deer blind picking on each other for hours. She was involved in the SETX ICA and she loved working the drawdowns as well as the bull and heifer sale.
Survivors include her husband of forty-four and a half years, Harold Anthony Ledoux; sons, David Oliver and Wade Oliver (Nancy); daughters, Jennifer Soileau (Brent) and Jessica Comeaux (Cory); six grandchildren, Wyatt, Colt, Brennan, Bryce, Taylor, and Tyler; brother, William “Bill” McKey (Cindy); nephews, Louis, Greg, Jason, and Jeffery; nieces, Jana and Jaclyn; several great nieces and nephews; and her two fur babies.
Sharon is preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Lynn Oliver; her parents; and her in-laws, Lee and Eunice Ledoux.
A Rosary for Mrs. Ledoux will be recited at 5:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends to follow until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
A special thank you to her two sons-in-law, Brent and Cory. She was always so incredibly thankful for all the hard work they have done over the years and their shared love about cooking. She loved them as if they were her own.
The Ledoux family would like to thank the caring staff at Frescenius Kidney Care particularly nurse Lainey. In addition, Commissioner Jimmy Gore and the Chambers County Transport Team Kim Silcox, Flo Mayes, Joe Reynolds, and Lana Yawn. We would also like to thank Baptist Home Care – particularly Angelique and Delissa, her nurses, and Dr. Boutte and Nurse Elizabeth Hillyer.
A special heart felt thank you to her dear friends Suzie Ortego, Cindy Hebert, and Trina Cole for their love and support of Sharon and the family for many years.

I am heartbroken 💔 and saddened by the loss of my dear friend. Tears are flowing now but in time will be replaced with smiles of happiness with the memories of better times. I hold memories in my heart ❤️ until we meet again. Soar with the angels, free of suffering, and always remember L.L.L.
