Frances Louise San Angelo

February 25, 1939 - February 23, 2025

Frances Louise San Angelo, 85, of Village Mills, Texas, peacefully went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2025. She was born on February 25, 1939, in Washington D.C. to Louise Hickman and Earl I. Reed, Sr.

Frances graduated from Bladensburg High School in Maryland. Some years later she worked for the IRS, developing a successful career.

After retiring, she spent years singing in The First Baptist Church Christmas Pageant in Houston Texas. It was there that a fellow singer introduced her to Tom. It was a match made in heaven.  After moving to the Beaumont area, Frances cultivated a love for popeyes fried chicken, her favorite meal.  While enjoying membership in “The Red Hats,” many friends were made.  Frances loved traveling with Tom. They attended church services regularly with lunch after and were loyal participants in the “St Joseph’s Altar” at St Anthony’s Cathedral. Frances’s faith and devotion to the Lord served her well.

Survivors include her brother, Earl I. Reed, Jr. of Crystal River, Florida, niece, Lisa Little of Sour Lake; nephew, Earl Reed III and his wife, Kelly, of Loyal, Wisconsin; great-nieces and nephews, Jared Sauer and his wife, Samantha, of Sour Lake; Jennifer Campbell and her husband, John, of Lumberton; Cassandra Sauer of Silsbee, Bailey Boe and her husband, Cedric, of Spencer, Wisconsin; and Brandy Reed of Marshfield, Wisconsin; great-great-nieces and nephews, Madyson Sauer, Zayden Sauer, Malcom Campbell, Atticus Campbell, Mayson Williams, Grayson Williams, Kylee Williams, Raina Boe, and Ryker Boe; and cousin, Georgia K.Catechis Shebay of Houston, Texas.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Thomas San Angelo.

To the nursing staff at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont, heartfelt appreciation for the professional, kind, loving, and compassionate care given to Frances.

Her graveside service will be held at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Maryland, at 10:00 a.m.,  Saturday, March 8, 2025, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
