During his spare time and into retirement “Big Al” as he was affectionately known to his friends, enjoyed playing bocce on the beach, sharing Italian food with his family and cruising with his wife, Pattie and their friends. His laughter and jovial attitude would bring a room to life addressing everyone as Yinz specifically while watching Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguin games. Al’s grandchildren were especially important to him traveling across Texas and to Las Vegas, Nevada to witness firsthand their important activities and share smiles, hugs and many stories. The grandkids all loved Pop Pop’s early morning breakfasts and persistent offerings of chocolate milk.

Al was loved immensely and will be missed by his family and friends.

Al was a good friend. He never met a stranger but found friends everywhere he went. He had a warm smile and great laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. We will always remember and love him. Rest in Peace, Al.

I was 13 years younger than Albert but I remember his visits with my dad. Two good men taken too soon. It is comforting to know they are now catching up. I remember many Christmas Eves spent with Aunt Sis and Uncle Abie and all the grandchildren. Such wonderful memories. Praying for all of you xo

I will always remember Albert Nardiello.
He was my mentor and friend for many years
And helped me through some tough times
He was always very generous and kind to me and treated me as his brother
I remember going to Cleveland with him in his big 18 wheeler…. And on the way home asked me if I wanted to drive…. I did and I was horrible at it, couldn’t shift properly, scared to go any faster…traffic backed up cars and trucks blowing horns. I had to pull over and we sat there giggling like two kids…. Al got us home safe but we laughed the whole way.
He taught me many things but most importantly, how to be a good father, for he loved his family more than anything, as is evident with the family that Albert and Pattie created.
All of the good that Albert has done, he taught to his children and they will teach to their children as well… and the traditions will continue in his name

I will always remember Albert P Nardiello

Ps… to this day pattie made the best beef stew I ever had

    Jennifer Rochkind says:

Uncle Al was just a fun guy to be around. His laugh was infectious. My kids loved playing cards with him when he visited. I loved that he maintained the remnant of a good Pittsburgh accent. 🖤💛

    Terry Nardiello says:

We were saddened to learn of Al’s passing. When we were about 10 years old he asked me to walk over to Turner’s and look at the cows. They were a barn and Al showed me how to pull on a test to squirt milk. We were having a great time until one of the cows kicked Al in the arm. The color drained from his face. An it took several minutes for the pain to go away. Al was always a pleasure to be around.

It is with heavy heart that I’m posting on this. I still can’t believe it. Pattie & Al have been together since forever! They literally grew up together. They’ve had many challenges but thankfully many more blessings. Moved away together but had their fantastic sons! They’ve achieved much and it shows in their grandkids. The love and pride they had for their family was so special. Rest easy Al-we knew him as “little Al”. Glad he got to be Big Al. Luv Susan

    Terry donovan says:

Albert was one of the funniest people I’ve ever known. He was so kind and generous to me. He always treated me with respect. I love him. He brought me down to Texas to see if I could live here and get a job was amazing. I will never forget all the generosity of the nardiolla family Patty and they were so kind of me and Sue and our kids and all the times we come down to visit I will miss Al is a great guy. I know he’s in heaven thank you, Lord!!!

    Phyllis Ray says:
