Alice Maureen Hayes

March 24, 1950 - December 20, 2022

Alice Maureen Hayes, 72, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was born on March 24, 1950, in Beaumont, to Ima Lilian Shadrach and John Daniel Moore.

Alice was a very hardworking and caring nurse. She loved her patients. Alice enjoyed trips to the casino. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and Granny.

Survivors include her children, Sally Toombs, and her husband, Timothy, of Beaumont; Thomas Richard Hayes and his wife, Julia, of Beaumont; Roy Dean Hayes II, and his wife, Heather, of Lumberton; and Curtis Daniel Hayes, and his wife, Amanda, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Jeremy Hayes and his wife, Blake; Cameron Hayes, Jared Hayes; Curtis Michael Hayes; Connor Hayes; Joshua Hayes; Cadence Hayes; Troy Toombs; and Hayden Toombs; brother, John Moore and his wife, Katy, of Lumberton; special nephew, Randy George  and his wife, Lynn, of Silsbee; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Hayes; brother, Joseph Moore; and sister, Danis Walton.

Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Hayes were handled under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.

    Sally, I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing.
    I know that’s one of the hardest things to let go of our Moms but I believe we will see them again someday.
    Please remember all the good times with your Mom and know that she loved you so much and appreciated all you did for her. I pray that God will wrap his arms around you and comfort you and give you strength. You were always such a good friend to Michelle, I loved your beautiful smile and joy.
