My deepest condolences to Alicia's family. I met Alicia years ago at the home of mutual friends. We became instant friends! Alicia was a great mother to her boys, she was a great friend and confidant. When I was going through rough times, she was my encourager and mentor. We shared MANY, MANY LAUGHS. My kids loved her and loved going to her house to visit. I will miss her laugh, I will miss her smile. I will miss her! Fly high my sweet friend. Con mucho carino.

My heart is with you Martin and Sammy as you honor your Mother's selfless life. She is a model of strength, and love that I admired and drew strength from. Her laughter is a reminder to me to enjoy the moment I am in.. As a young girl, she once told me to "Stop and smell the roses". I have carried her words throughout my life and they serve as a reminder as I raise my own son. I can't help but smile when I think of Alice. I have so many memories of her ability to turn the negative into something remarkable. She had many talents but her beautiful voice and selfless love tops them all! Rest in peace Alice.
