Nell, prayers for you and family. Runt and Ralph fishing partners back in the 80’s and 90’s. Remember the CB channel switching to get to the stripers before the crowds. We are unable to attend, but will contact you later.

We are friends of Mr. & Mrs. Loftin and have a camp just 3 doors down. It was such a joy to visit with them both. We are so sorry for your loss. We hope this message reaches Ms. Nell. We love you and always will. You both will be forever in our hearts.

I first met Runt and Nell when I was in high school and at the lake with my grandparents, Lawrence and Nell Smaihall, who lived across the street. I have fond memories of helping with building their house and all of the many projects that everyone participated in helping out in the Cove.
Runt will be missed by all, and those who truly knew him and his special fishing spots!
