Alyssa Lynn Cogar

February 9, 2004 - March 19, 2026

Alyssa Lynn Cogar was born February 9, 2004, in Beaumont, Texas, a beautiful baby girl to William “Billy” Cogar and Katie Brammer. Alyssa lived a life full of love, laughter, and happiness. Alyssa could put a smile on your face no matter the mood you were in. Alyssa was a college student at Lamar University, on track to becoming a teacher. Alyssa loved to spend her time with her family, friends, and boyfriend. To know her was to love her and she was loved by so many people. Alyssa was kind and fiercely loyal, she had an ability to make everyone feel seen and loved whether she knew you or not. Alyssa had a beautiful soul that could never be replicated. Alyssa tragically passed away at the age of 22 on March 19, 2026. She accomplished so much in her short 22 years earth side before she became the most beautiful angel.  If you had the opportunity to know and love Alyssa, you received one of the greatest gifts that you could have ever had. Alyssa will be forever missed and left a hole in many lives that can never be filled.

Alyssa Lynn Cogar is welcomed into heaven by her father; William “Billy” Cogar Jr., uncle; Jeremy Cogar, grandfather; William Cogar Sr., and her cousin Jayla Skye Cogar.

Alyssa Lynn Cogar was survived by her mother; Katie Brammer, her siblings; Jakob and Journee, her maternal grandparents; Debbie and Kenneth Brammer, her paternal grandmother; Louise Hebert, her cousins including Zack and Robbie Steed, and Jade Spears, Jeremy Cogar Jr., and Ayrlynn Cogar. Aunts including Keila Barulich and her spouse Nicholas, Jen Brammer, and Amanda Garza. Her best friend; Dixie Rose, and last but certainly not least, her long-term significant other; Victor Sanchez.

Please join Alyssa’s family and friends at her celebration of life from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Elks Lodge #311, 11431 US Highway 90, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

    First off I want to tell you how much I love you. I will always love and cherish the time God allowed me to spend with your beautiful daughter. I know dad is is taking good care of her too with Billy and the rest st of the fsmily. Ryan sends his 🙏 and love along with Case. We love you so much and you are always in our prayers.
