Angela Cherry, 65, of Kountze, died Thursday, January 1, 2026. She was born on November 18, 1960, in Kountze, to Eugenia Simpson Clark and Albert Anthony Clark.

Survivors include her children, Richard Cherry and his wife, Krystal, of Dayton; and Rodney Cherry of Saratoga; grandchildren, Christy Cherry, Hannah Cherry, Rowdy Cherry, Eva Cherry, and Dalvin Cherry; great-grandchild, Oaklynn Stineman; sister, Lydia Johnston and her husband, Bim, of Old Salem; and nieces, Tara Perry and her husband, Jade, and Brooke Hawkins and her husband, Russell, all of Buna. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze, under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.

Angela was always such a beautiful girl and had the most beautiful hair she was always quiet and polite to everyone ….. in grade school she was the fastest runner she could out run everyone.
