Anita C. Clark

July 29, 1934 - January 28, 2022

Anita Chesson Clark, 87, of Hemphill, died Friday, January 28, 2022.  She was born on July 29, 1934, in Del Rio, to Simona Ramos Martinez and Agapito Martinez.

Survivors her husband, T.W. Clark; daughter, Cindy Callahan and her husband, Duane, of Orange; grandchildren, Carrie Chesson Pool and her husband, David; Caitlin Hall and her husband, James; Crystal Chesson; Christopher Montes and his wife, Clansi; Carlos Montes and his wife, Lorena; Eric Montes; Michelle Graffagnino and her husband, Reece; Michael Balla and his wife, Jentry; and Cody Balla and his wife, Kailey; eight great-grandchildren; and brother, Henry Martinez of San Lorenzo, California.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luther “Bud” Chesson; son, Ronnie Chesson; daughter, Anna Montes; siblings, Janie Granato; Manuel Martinez; Jesuita Martinez; and grandson, Cole Mason Balla.

A gathering of Mrs. Clark’s family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  Her interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery, Kountze. Please observe social distancing guidelines.
