Ann Daigle

June 23, 1950 - December 29, 2022

Ann Daigle, 72, of Beaumont, died Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was born on June 23, 1950, in Camden, Tennessee, to Clara Elizabeth Madden and Newton Alexander Hawks.

Ann loved gardening, dancing, and working on puzzles. She loved to bring the family together for meals or get togethers on her back deck. Ann was known for making the best cornbread dressing at Thanksgiving. She was a wonderful cook and baker. Her family was her life. Ann gave up her own life to raise her children. She was always there to listen if ever her children needed her. Ann did everything right in life. Honored her husband and took care of her children and taught them to do right as well. She was devout Catholic. Ann had such a good heart of other people. She was someone that would give her last dollar if it would help someone.

Survivors include her husband, Henry “Dean” Arnold, of Beaumont; children, Christy Stephens and her husband, Timothy, of Fannett; Joe Daigle and his Fiancée, Alicia Trahan, of Fannett; and Jody Daigle of Austin; grandchildren, Angel Daigle, Trenton Stephens, Christian Stephens, Koda Daigle, and Eve Daigle; great-grandchildren, Madden Daigle and Luca Daigle;sister, Alice McCauley and her husband, James; beloved dog, Rango; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends through the years.

Ann is preceded in death by her parents, first love and husband of fifty years, Carl Joseph Daigle; siblings, Jerry Beasley, Jim Beasley, Jack Beasley, Bill Beasley, and Carolyn Beasley.

A gathering of Mrs. Daigle’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2023, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, Fannett, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
