Ann Heiner

December 17, 1937 - December 11, 2021

Ann Heiner, 83, of Beaumont went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday December 11, 202, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.  She was born December 17, 1937, to C.S. “Judge” and Thelma Clark.  She was preceded in death by her husband Adolph Heiner Jr., parents, her sister Susan Cain, and brothers Charles Clark and Chester Clark and her daughter-in-law, Winona “Sissy” Thames.

A lifelong resident of Beaumont, Ann was a 1956 graduate of South Park High school. She developed a love for gardening from her dad “Judge”.  She was a stay-at-home mom who raised tomatoes commercially and later with her husband Adolph worked in the rice fields. She loved to tell stories about farming and show you how strong she was from working in the fields.

Ann also loved music and used that talent to serve her Lord. She was an excellent pianist and organist.  She played the piano for several churches, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and eventually joined the 1st Baptist Senior Adult Choir as their pianist. They would present a program once a month at various nursing homes. Ultimately, she coordinated the schedule and the program for the monthly visits to these homes. She loved volunteering and always wanted to know how and where she could help.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kirk and husband Bertray; sons, Paul Thames Jr. and Scott Thames and wife Laura; grandchildren, Brian Kirk and his wife Heather; Travis Kirk and his wife Victoria; Nicole Thames; Kayla Reynolds and her husband Jeremy; Cordell Thames; and Hunter Thames; great-grandchildren, Cameron Burgess, Cera Kirk, Kent Kirk, Mason Reynolds, Abby Reynolds; sisters-in-law, Brenda Lambert and Mary Bauer and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brian Kirk, Travis Kirk, Cameron Burgess, Cordell Thames, Jeremy Reynolds, and Zach Dorman, with an Honorary Pallbearer, Hunter Thames.
