She later graduated from Southwest Texas State University, where she met and married the love her life Wilbur Butler. She began a life filled with faith, service, and deep love for her family.

I have known Ann for over 50 years. I purchased f the property across the street from her sister Betty. As I did not have any relatives from Texas, Ann’s family kinda adopted me. On the very first Easter after moving in, Ann’s family invited me over for the annual Easter egg hunt. I met Ann and all of her family. Eggs, which contained money, were hidden all over the place but with certain rules. One color eggs were for all of the children, another for all of the grandchildren, and the last for people like me. We all had a ball hunting for eggs. We adults would look for the ones for Ann’s children and when we would spot one, we would try to lead one of the kids to that egg (the one with the least eggs). This tradition was continued until the death of this parents. Ann became like a sister to me thru the years and all of us will miss her greatly.

I met Ann years ago at Curves where we worked out. I liked her right away. A friend there mentioned her daughter was emotional about school. Ann had a few suggestions and our friend said it helped so much. I’ll miss her.
