Anna Yvonne Chapman

Anna Yvonne Chapman, 90, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, June 4, 2025. She was born on February 8, 1935, in Rusk County, to Oma Frances Willett and Winfred Hazel Thompson.

She is survived by her children, Edward “Butch” Chapman, Jr. and his wife, Pam, Debralee “Debbie” Chapman, and Tommy Chapman and his wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Shane Chapman, Jason Chapman and wife, Brandi, Jennifer Byrd and husband, Jesse, Katie Rendon and husband, Tim, Chance Chapman and fiancé, Lisa, Eddie Arnold and wife, Laurie, Steven Arnold and wife, Amber, Andrew Arnold and wife, Danna, and Cassie Arnold; twenty great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Karl Thompson.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward E. Chapman, Sr.; sisters, Glenda Burnaman, Mary Dennis, and Judy Nobles; and brothers, Robert Thompson, and William “Joe” Thompson.

A gathering of Mrs. Chapman’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 9, 2025, at Broussard’s, with her interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.

    She was my mom, Judy Nobles’ sister. She was an integral part of our family and came over often. I was a cousin to Butch, Debbie and Tommy and they were friends as well as cousins!
