Anthony Lewis

Anthony Wayne Lewis, 58, of Hankamer, died Friday, October 29, 2021. He was born February 20, 1963, in Anahuac, to Susie Smith Lewis and Gilbert Wayne Lewis.

Anthony was a spontaneous man that enjoyed having a good time. He was a beloved and devoted son, father, uncle, and nephew. Anthony was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was loved by all.

Survivors include his mother, Susie Smith Lewis, of Hankamer; son, Anthony Williams and wife, Erika, of Dickinson; grandson, Aenear Williams, of Baytown; niece, Jhanika Christmas and her husband, Kevin, uncle; Richard Smith and wife, Linda, of Anahuac; uncle, John Wayne Smith of Wallisville; and many extended family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Wayne Lewis and sister, Jeanette Lavalais Lewis.

A gathering of Mr. Lewis’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, under the direction of Broussard’s, Winnie.
