Tony “PawPaw” Rosetta
Anthony “Tony” Rosetta, 85, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, with his loving wife by his side. Tony was born on November 23, 1938, to Anthony “Pop” Rosetta and Catherine “Katy” Rosetta in Port Arthur, Texas, where he spent his early years alongside his cherished brother, Joseph “Joe” Rosetta.
Tony is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, O’linda Rosetta; his three sons, Tony Rosetta and wife, Debbie, Jeff Rosetta and wife, Jane, Vinnie Rosetta and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Rosetta. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Clint LeBlanc and wife, Brandy, Chris Rosetta and wife, Jolee, Joey Rosetta and wife, Skyler, Trevor Rosetta, Lauren Rosetta, and Sophia Rosetta as well as great-grandchildren, Cora LeBlanc, Cort LeBlanc, Rhyan Rosetta, and Piper Rosetta. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony “Pop” and Catherine “Katy” Rosetta and his brother, Joe Rosetta, who he spoke to almost daily throughout his life.
Known affectionately as “PawPaw” to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tony will be remembered for his kind heart, easygoing nature, and unwavering love for his family. He proudly worked his way through night classes at Lamar State College of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration. He also served his country as a reservist in the U.S. Army National Guard for eight years.
Tony’s career took him across the sales departments of several major companies, including Bristol-Myers Squibb and Procter & Gamble, but his greatest achievement was raising his three sons with O’linda in Beaumont, Texas.
Tony was known for greeting every family member with a warm “Hey Babe” and never let a guest leave without the heartfelt reminder, “Buckle up for safety!” His appreciation for nature, history, and science led him to lifelong passions. An avid outdoorsman in his youth, Tony loved to hunt, fish, and kayak with his brother Joe, telling stories of their adventures in the marshes and on Village Creek. Later in life, he turned his attention to collecting stamps and postcards, attending shows, and sharing his love of learning with others.
Despite all his hobbies, Tony’s deepest love was reserved for his family. His face lit up whenever his grandchildren or great-grandchildren visited, and nothing made him prouder. While he had a deep affection for Blue Bell ice cream, nothing compared to the joy his family brought him.
Tony “PawPaw” Rosetta will be forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of love, kindness, and family devotion lives on in those who survive him.

Linda,
Am so sorry for your loss. Tony was such compassionate person. I know he will be missed.
Tony, & Joe Rosetta were cherished family friends. We always loved there visits to our parents home on West Circuit. Always felt loved & hugged later when you hadn’t seen each others in years. Our thoughts & prayers go out to you O’linda.
May GOD receive Tony into His Loving heart and soul.
Tony was a couple of years ahead of me at St. Anthony High School. However, SAHS only had about 300 students, grades 9-12, so everyone knew everyone else. I also worked nights with Tony, at the old Beaumont State Bank, for a couple of years. We had to post bank activity, to customer accounts, on old posting machines. We would usually finish around midnight, then head to Patrizi’s for a hamburger.
Our prayers to Tony’s family and loved ones.
So sorry for your loss.
Tony and Joe were good friends of mine. will miss Tony as i do his brother Joe. Sorry for y’ll loss.
