Anthony “Tony” Dempsey
Anthony “Tony” Dempsey, 59, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, August 6, 2024. He was born on May 15, 1965, in Houston to Ginger Manning and Kenneth Dempsey.
Tony was a heavy equipment operator with a big personality and a lifelong Houston Texans fan.
Survivors include his wife, Amy Dempsey; children, Anthony Dempsey, Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Sour Lake; Justynn Deshotel and her husband, David, of Baytown; K’Dee Rodriguez of Humble; Billy Sather of Jasper; and Christa Collier and her husband, Caleb, of Jasper; brothers, Kenneth Dempsey of Buna; John Dempsey of Beaumont; Bill Dempsey; and Ronald Dempsey of Buna; and twenty-one grandchildren.
Tony is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Darren Dempsey.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
A gathering of Mr. Dempsey’s family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.
