Arthur Douglas Guy

November 29, 1946 - February 2, 2022

Arthur Douglas Guy, 75, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, February 2, 2022.  He was born on November 29, 1946, in Kirbyville, to Edna Gurran Guy and William Thomas Guy.

Arthur started his law career in Hardin County as a Hardin County Sheriff Deputy and served the public for over twenty years.  He then was Constable of Precinct 2 of Hardin County for twenty plus years and served as Bailiff for the 88th District Court under Judge Earl Stover, Jr.  Arthur was also a thirty-one-year member of Silsbee Masonic Lodge, #927 A.F. & A.M.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Guy; children, Tamara Crosby and her husband, Lynn and Robin Mullins and her husband, Joe, all of Silsbee; Deborah Morse and her husband, Robert, of Conroe; Lisa Jones and her husband, Kendall, of Conway, Arkansas; and Randee Perez and her husband, Jamie, of Kountze; grandchildren, Cody Crosby and his wife, Amber, of Silsbee; Devin Aldy and her husband, Aaron, of Warren; Jessica Scates of Silsbee; Hailey Johnson and her husband, Sean, of Vidor; Casey Boudreaux of Lumberton; Aaron Mullins and his wife, Kam, of Kirbyville; Kyle Mullins of Silsbee; Alana McRoberts and her husband, Garrett, of Honey Island; Lauren Hendrix and her husband, Blain, of Vidor; Anna Morse of Houston; Dylan Smith and Meghan Smith, both of Conway, Arkansas; Rachel Parker and her husband, Tyler, of Buna; Abby Morse of Conroe; and Catie Walden of Kountze; sixteen great-grandchildren; and siblings, Brenda Groover of Colmesneil and Teddy Wayne Guy of Jacksonville.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Guy; daughter, Stacey Guy; siblings, Charles William Guy, Doris McNaughen Sam Guy, and Raymond Guy.

A gathering of Arthur’s family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Hardin Memorial Park, Silsbee.
