Arvindbhai Umedbhai Patel

August 1, 1942 - November 21, 2025

Arvindbhai Patel, 83, of Beaumont, TX, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025. He was born on August 1, 1942, to Kashiben Umedbhai Patel and Umedbhai Kishabhai Patel.

Arvindbhai was born in Adas, Gujarat, India. After retiring from a long career as a tobacco merchant, he moved to the United States in 2000. Over the years, he lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas. For the past sixteen years, he made his home in Beaumont, Texas, where he lived with his wife, Hansaben, his son and daughter-in-law, Nikul and Tarla Patel, and his three beloved grandchildren – Kruti, Disha, and Dev. As a grandpa, he cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. His retired life was filled with joy, peace, and the warmth of family. His daughters – Divyaprabha, Sangeeta, Hema, and Rita – visited often, bringing him even more happiness. He loved simple, meaningful pleasures: walking, gardening, reading, and listening to music. Whether he was tending to his vegetable garden, nurturing the flower beds, or playing with his dog, Bear, he always found contentment in the background, quietly contributing and observing with love. His faith was also an important part of his daily life. He rarely missed his morning prayers and regularly attended weekly gatherings at the BAPS temple. Arvindbhai lived a life centered around family, devotion, and the peaceful joys of everyday moments. He will be remembered for his gentle presence and the deep affection he held for his children and grandchildren.
