Ashley Elizabeth Buck-Barlow

February 15, 1984 - October 23, 2021

Ashley Elizabeth Buck, 37, of Corrigan, Texas, passed Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Beaumont, Texas. On February 15, 1984, she was born to Phillip Buck and Shelley Cramer in Salina, Kansas.

Ashley was raised in Corrigan, Texas, where she attended public school and graduated in 2002 from Corrigan-Camden High.

Ashley has been with the Jefferson County Community Supervision & Corrections Department since 2012 where she started as a clerk while she worked towards her Bachelor’s Degree. After obtaining her degree in Criminal Justice, she worked as a Pre-Sentence Investigation Community Supervision Officer and Court Liaison. During her tenure at the probation office, she gained friends that were very dear to her heart.

Ashley spent all of her free time with her children and family. She was a devoted mother to Bradley, Trinity, and Tyson, who were her entire world. Ashley raised them to be humble, kind, and intelligent, just like her. She was the rock of the family and always the go-to person in any challenging situation. She became the matriarch of the siblings and the foundation of support. Ashley was shy and quiet with the heart of a warrior. Nothing could stop her from figuring anything out and persevering over any situation. The beach was her calm and always lifted her spirits and her favorite place to take her children. If she was not doing something for her kids, she was doing it for someone else. Ashley had the most beautiful smile and eyes and the most welcoming heart. She was pure gold, a good cook, an accomplished person, an Auntie “Mom,” and a best friend.

She is survived by her children, Bradley Hutson, Trinity Barlow, Tyson Barlow; parents, Shelley Cramer and Phillip Buck; grandmother, Mildred Buck; siblings, Amanda Buck and children Amariana Jackson, Braylon Taylor, Parker Taylor; Zachery Buck and wife, Candace Bubenik, children, Payton Lumpkins, Kennedy Lumpkins, Jax Lumpkins, Avery Buck, and Easton Buck; Samantha and Chance Norton, children Ryland Norton, and Lilly Norton; Kevin Ballenger; Deborah Gates and children, Micheal and Mathew Wilson and children; aunts, Jolana Cordel, Marlene Little, Denise Smith, Cara Birmingham, and Dee Buck; uncles, Jon Buck, Bill Little, Arthur Cordel; and cousins, Brandi Coats, Brent Little, Charles and Michael Wheeler, Anthony Cordel, Christopher Byers, Robert Cramer, Andrea Cramer, Melissa Ochola, Tiffany Stenvall; and Corey Buck.

A gathering of Mrs. Buck-Barlow’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium.

It seems that this has been a season of God calling his earthly angels home. I remember when you came to work at JCCSCD, always smiling and bright eyed. This world needs more people like you. Ashley you were a light shining brightly, touching all with your beautiful smile, kindness and goodness. You looked pass the color of the skin and into the hearts of those who were blessed to share your space. You shared your light and goodness with no expectations. Your goodness, kindness, and gentleness will be greatly missed. I pray that all of the goodness, love, kindness, and joy that you gave to others will be showered upon your family in a thousand folds. I pray that God’s Love and Grace will embrace them and strengthen them always.????????????????????????

“A-Buck” “Buck-Nation”…LOL…so many years ago you changed your name to Barlow, but I never got around to giving you a new nickname. you were so passionate as you facilitated DWI Intervention and so diligent as you worked to achieve your degree(s)…You were a blessing to so many; your beauty and light shined through your brokenness… You will truly be missed in the halls of Jefferson County CSCD…Love, Hugs & Prayers

Ashley, I want to apologize because I had no idea the struggles that were battling. You had such a sweet soul and always managed to keep a smile on your face despite the struggles that you were being dealt behind close doors. Over the last 10 years, we have had the pleasure of not only working with you but also watching as you worked hard to finish college and earn your degree while working full time all to provide a better life for you and your children. You were always a breath of fresh air and we will miss you like crazy at the department. You have forever touched our lives and taught us a valuable lesson regarding domestic abuse. You will be missed immensely but your legacy will stay with us forever. We ???? you and will miss you!
