Aurora Jae Whitman, infant daughter of Lindsay Marie Miller and Jacob Terry Whitman, died Monday, November 14, 2022. She was born on January 17, 2022, in Beaumont.

Survivors include her parents, Lindsay and Jacob Whitman; sister, Aria Ann Whitman; grandparents, Sherry and Michael Whitman; Barbara and Ronald Slovacek; and Rebecca and Jim Miller; great-grandmothers, JoAnn Williams; Edith Miglicco; Charlyne Slovacek; aunts and uncles; Scott Whitman; Whitney and Timothy Whitman; Samantha and Joseph Whitman; Amy Jo Whitman; Grace and Adam Miller; Shelly and Shawn Keough; and Sarah Slovacek; cousins; Kaden; Liam; Luka; Scarlett Jean; Allie; and Zoey; numerous other family members and friends.

A gathering of Aurora’s family and friends will begin at 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Our Lady of Lourdes, 1600 North Main Street, Vidor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2022, at St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica, 700 Jefferson Street, Beaumont. Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Rest Lawn Memorial Park, 2725 North Main Street, Vidor, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
