We met the Bergeron family 49 years ago. They became close friends to us. We moved to Vidor from Louisiana on July 4, 1976. Sis Barbara made 30 years old in August. She was working at Bro. Melvin’s gas station on Highway 12. Well the day of her Birthday there was a sign in the window that said something like Barbara has turned 30 or look who turned 30. Somehow she knew that my mom , Sis. Marie Myers put that big poster board announcement in the window. We have had a lot of laughs together. We love the Bergeron family. They all have a place in our hearts.
