Barbara Sue Kahla Faggard
Barbara Sue Kahla Faggard, 78, of High Island, Texas, passed away on July 25, 2024. Barbara was born on October 31, 1945, in Galveston, Texas, to Wescott Kahla and Imogene Kirkland Kahla.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Leslie Charles “Bucky” Faggard, Jr.; daughter, Karen Faggard, of High Island, Texas; granddaughter, Marina Gonzalez Richardson and husband, Dalton, of Lumberton, Texas.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Charlotte Kahla Hatcher and husband, Frank Hatcher.
Mrs. Faggard’s memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2024, at St. Matthews Methodist Church, 1308 Weeks Avenue, High Island. Her cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew’s Methodist Church, P.O. Box 297, High Island, Texas 77623.
