Belle Byron, 81, of Lumberton, died Friday, August 29, 2025. She was born on September 16, 1943, in Silsbee, to Bertsia Lowe Lamb and James Henry Lamb, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, John Byron; children, Stephanie Swinney of Freeport; Catherine Wells and her husband, Brett, of Lindale; Joan Mills and her husband, Shannon, of China; and Elizabeth Kays and her husband, Philip Chin, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana; grandchildren, Gregory Chad Swinney of Silsbee; Dawson Wallace and his wife, Jessie, of Mount Enterprise; Matthew Wallace and his wife, Emily, of Corpus Christi; Garrick Franks of China; Grant Franks and his wife, Kaylan, of Dayton; Kiley Elkins of Connecticut; and Gracie Elkins of Huntsville; step-grandchildren, Britni Waggoner and her husband, Chance; and Dustin Mills and his wife, Adrian; numerous great-grandchildren; and nieces, Beverly Judalet and Angie Connally. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Travis Lamb; and sister, Barbara Ann Burns.

A gathering of Mrs. Byron’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
