Beris Allen Chance Clubb

January 16, 1932 - August 9, 2021

Beris Allen Chance Clubb, 89, of Granbury, formerly of Beaumont, died Monday, August 9, 2021. She was born on January 16, 1932, in Chance Community, now Lumberton, to Corrie Wave David Chance and Allen Anson Chance.

Survivors include her sons, Jay Clubb and his wife, Valerie, of Granbury and Marty Clubb and his wife, Megan, of Walla Walla, Washington; daughter, Cherri Wynne and her husband, Rick, of Keller, TX; grandchildren, Matthew Clubb and his wife, Kathryn; Riley Clubb, and his wife, Melissa; Austin Wynne, and his wife, Lindsey; Rebecca Clubb Olson, and her husband, Sander; and Katherine Wynne Hale, and her husband, Justin; and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of over sixty-three years, A.J. Clubb; her parents; grandson, Jayson Clubb; brother, John Edward Chance; and sister, Mary Lou Chance Soward.

A gathering of Mrs. Clubb’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. with her memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Beris’ caregiver, Pat Williams, with the help of Granbury and Interim Hospice of Granbury.

She will especially be missed by her Sunday School Class at Trinity United Methodist Church HAMACO.
