Berkley came from the cotton fields of Louisiana and learned to speak English in grade school. He always worked and supported his family and will be remembered as a man of honor.

To our dear friend, Ethel, and all you family,
It has been an honor and pleasure to know Berkeley all these years from the time you moved to Fannett. How much fun I had relearning some of my French with him, the visits Buddy and I had with the two of you. He was always so pleasant. We didn’t see you often in the last few years but know Berkeley will be missed like a member of our family.
With love and prayers for you all,
    Buddy and Jeannette

    Ms Ethel and family
So sorry to hear about Mr Berkley. I think about y’all often when I think about my mom and dad. I haven’t been to Fannett in several years Will be praying for you the coming days.

    Belinda Ressler says:

I loved my Uncle Berkley. He and my dad, Joseph Neil, were very close brothers and talked on the phone often.

Uncle Berkley worked hard all his life. He has a great wife, Aunt Ethel, who loved her husband dearly and provided the more “gentle” side of parenting to the kids.

The pair raised wonderful children…another testament to this wonderful couple.

    Praying for all of you!

    Love, Belinda Ressler
