Bernadine McGrath

Bernadine Leah McGrath, 80, of Nederland, died Thursday, January 19, 2023, at the Port Arthur Community Retirement Home. She was born September 1, 1042, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Bernadine Harriet Rich Saunders and Joseph Saunders.

Survivors include her sons, Buddy Martin McGrath and wife, Diane and James. J. McGrath and wife, Lana; grandchildren, Ashley Marie McGrath, Lauryn McGrath, Conor McGrath, and Will McGrath; and sisters, Mary Claassen and Jan Iglesias.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.W. McGrath; grandson, Luke McGrath; brothers, Bud and Bob Saunders; and sister, Nancy Farmer.

Cremation arrangements for Mrs. McGrath will be handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12^th Street, Nederland.
