Betty Husarek

Betty Husarek, 93, of Beaumont, died Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care. She was born on February 20, 1928, in Buffalo, New York, to Adele Goerke Maier and Edward Maier.

Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Pileggi and her husband, Arnold, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Adam Pileggi and his wife, Stephanie, of East Bonnie Lake, Washington; Andrew Pileggi, of Beaumont; Aaron Pileggi and his wife, Tricia, of Sugar Hill, Georgia; and Wendy Patrick of Sharpsburg, Georgia; great-grandchildren Nathan Pileggi, Isabella Pileggi, Duke Pileggi, Owen Pileggi, Zane Pileggi, Jett Pileggi, Donovan Blevins, and Benjamin Blevins; nieces Kathy Keffer and her husband, Bud, and Dale Nichols and her husband, Greg; great-niece Michele Bermudez and her husband, Chris; great-great nieces Lana Bermudez, Quinn Bermudez, and Nina Bermudez; a host of other nieces and nephews; brother, Tom Davies and his wife, Sharon, of Houston; and sister, Donna Walker and her husband, Clark, of New York.

She is preceded in death by her husband of seventy-three years, Robert Husarek; parents; brothers, Jack Davies and his wife, Lorraine and Gordon Maier and his wife, Dottie; sister, Joan Olson and her husband, Doug; and granddaughter, Tammy Aborn.

A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
