Betty Jean Tremont
Betty Jean Tremont, 90, of Beaumont, died Sunday, February 22, 2026. Betty was born in Beaumont to Charlie and Pearl Wade and grew up and attended school in China, Texas.
Survivors include her daughter, Gina (Dennis) Murray of Spring; son, Larry (Kay) Tremont of Groves; stepson, Skipper (Glenna) Bettis of Big Rapids, Michigan; grandchildren, Nicole, Eric, Lane, Colby, and Cassie; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Pearl Wade; husband of 54 years, Jim Tremont; grandson, Derek Tremont; and sisters, Patsy and Charlene.
Betty was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all.
Mrs. Tremont’s graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

I’m so sorry to see that Betty Jean passed away. She and I worked together at Bill Thames Pharmacy when I graduated high school in 1972. We always had so much fun and so many laughs when we were working. RIP sweet Betty Jean!!❤️
