Betty King
Betty Bice King, 89, of Winnie, died Saturday, Janurary 7, 2023. She was born September 17, 1933, to Addie Maggie Lee Cole and Herman Bird Bice.
Betty enjoyed baking and cooking. She loved music, especially country and gospel, fishing, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Above all else, Betty cherished her family, everything she did revolved around them.
Survivors include her children, Erwin LeBlanc and wife, Cindy; Evette Kahla and husband, Bob, all of Winnie; Wesley King and wife, Robbie, of Anahuac; and Tony King and wife, Darla; grandchildren, Shelly Abram; Luke Clement; Krista LeBlanc; Tanner LeBlanc; Tye LeBlanc; Shannon Duncan; Westan King; Jessica King; and Devin King; and great-grandchildren, Linnea, Wiley, Tilten, Rylie, Kyler, Aiden, and Victoria.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Wesley King; son, David King; and grandsons, Kyler King and Wilfred Erwin LeBlanc, Jr.
A gathering of Mrs. King’s family and friends will be 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. Her graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
