Betty Lou Saunders
Betty Lou Saunders, 84, of Kirbyville, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was born on September 28, 1940, in Groves, to Margaret and James Walter Bailey.
She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a fashionista that loved karaoke and bling bling hats. She was a retired hairdresser of forty years.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, James; her beloved son, Jim “Jimmy” Saunders; as well as her mother, father, nine brothers, and one sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Patty Mae Petree and her husband, Billy; granddaughters, Tina Bush and her husband, Jared; and Katy Wilkes and her husband, Richard; great-grandchildren, Jared Bush, Jace Bush, Saffron Wilkes, Richard James Wilkes, and a great-granddaughter due in March.
Her cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2025, at the home of Katy and Richard Wilkes. Please reach out to the family for address.
