Betty Jane Mazzoli

Betty Jane Mazzoli, 76, of Beaumont, died Friday, January 29, 2021, with her family by her side.

She was born on June 22, 1944, in Ironwood, Michigan, to Salema Johnson Banfield and William James Banfield.  She grew up in Bessemer, Michigan as the youngest of eight siblings.  After graduating from high school, she moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her sister, Joann where she met her husband, Jim.  They were married in Michigan in 1963 and had four children together.  Jane worked for ISI Commercial Refrigeration for 28 years as a parts manager but her most important and favorite job was being a mother and grandmother.  She was fun and loving with all the grandkids and they all wanted to spend time with her and their grandfather at the beach.  She also loved traveling with her husband.  Together they have truly traveled the world including Switzerland, Portugal, Egypt, Italy and too many others to list.  But of all the beautiful places she visited she loved Rome most.  

Jane is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jim Mazzoli of Beaumont; two sons, James Mazzoli and his wife Maribel Mazzoli, of Beaumont and John Mazzoli and his wife, Sharon Mazzoli, of Flower Mound; two daughters, Janice Hayes and her husband, Jason Hayes, of Beaumont and Jennifer Hall and her husband Jason Hall, of Norfolk, Virginia. She was blessed with several grandchildren that adored her, David Crow, Jonathan Mazzoli, Noah Mazzoli and his wife, Haley and a great-grandbaby due in July, Lauren Hayes, Sidney Williams, Huston Hayes, Jenna Mazzoli, Nathan Mazzoli, and Jaxon Mazzoli.  Jane is also survived by her sister Joann Langa of Bessemer, Michigan. 

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Salema Banfield and her four brothers and two sisters. 

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
